Project overview:
Truwood worked with contractors McCabe McGinn and Alex Cochrane Architects on this project for Brown Thomas at their prolific landmark store located in the heart of Dublin’s Grafton Street. Home to an unparalleled range of luxury and designer brands, this project required a superior quality finish in fitting with a store of this nature.
The concession which was located on level two of the store consisted of; lingerie display units to the department perimeter which included specialised brass work, glass and LED to units; lingerie display units to mid floor – including brass, glass and LED set on timber plinths, as well as hosiery units, a bespoke cash desk and display tables with fabric inset.
Operating in a live retail environment, the fit-out for this premium store with a high-volume footfall needed to be installed sensitively to ensure minimal disruption to the customer.
Designed, manufactured and installed in under three months, this project was successfully delivered within a relatively tight timeframe.
