Truwood is proud to have played a part in the historic rebirth of Port Ellen Distillery, a legendary name on Islay and the wider world of Scotch whisky. Closed for over four decades, Port Ellen has reopened its doors with a new Visitor Centre being the focal point of the Distillery.

Our joinery has helped craft a space that seamlessly blends the rich heritage of Port Ellen with a focus on discovery. Visitors can experience the legacy of the Distillery alongside showpiece items such as the Fine Dining Bar, back-lit Bottle Displays, Feature Shelving, Bespoke Staircase, Welcome Lounge including the concrete clad Fireplace and Veneered Wall Panelling & Ceilings throughout.
