Tailored Installations for Student Accommodation

Creating welcoming and functional living spaces for students is a key aspect of our joinery services. University Buildings | TU Grangegorman Central and East Quads

Our specialist joinery services also stretch to university buildings and campus. Grangegorman in the Technological University in Dublin is the largest investment in Higher Education in Ireland and it brings together many activities in one vibrant, cutting-edge campus. We were delighted to be involved in both the East and Central Quad buildings. The East Quad opened in late 2020, while the Central Quad began welcoming students in April 2021. The buildings are now fully operational and accommodate 10,000 students.

We supplied various elements to both these projects, including atrium wall panelling, recital hall panelling, soft tier lecture spaces, large teaching studios, forbo panelling, performance hall capping and panelling, and reception desks and panelling.

Hospitals and Private Clinics

Over the years our work has crossed over into the healthcare sector where we have supplied specialist joinery services to various private hospitals and clinics across Dublin such as Blackrock, VHI, St. Vincents and St. Raphael’s Clinic. We also worked on a project in the iconic Mater Hospital Dublin.

The Mater Hospital Dublin

We worked alongside John Sisk & Sons and Scott Tallon Walker architects within this prestigious institution. The project required a comprehensive joinery solution to enhance its interior spaces and improve acoustic performance.

Working in a sensitive healthcare environment, this project required a lot of care and attention. Particularly with the installation of the acoustic panelling in the main atrium where a three storey scaffolding was erected in order to carry out the required works. Including three storey high wall panelling within the main atrium in the hospital, we also installed wall panelling in all corridors, lobby, reception areas and meeting rooms.

We also assisted Scott Tallon Walker in the design of the totally bespoke acoustic panelling which had to be elevated out from the wall within the atrium.
